Trying something different, every GK army I've seen so far where I play is painted the same, bolter. I think this looks better on a table, though. I don't like shiny things, really.

It's good to see some Grey Knights that are actually grey rather than silver for a change.

I think I'd be inclined to give it another wash just to tone down the drybrushing but otherwise it's great.

I like those, they look like stone.
And if you never saw anything but silver knights, check my sig.

Does look nice, maybe a black was in order to smoothen it and dull the colour a bit more?

In the table, like if I were playing with them a game, they look very cartoonish with the colours as they are right now, and I like it. It's pretty llamative.

It's always nice to see alternate colour-schemes being used.

A few minor points of feedback; there are some rather nasty looking mold lines along the inner arms, lower legs and bolter. Using a dry-brushing technique over the model unfortunately makes mold lines stand out even more, so it may be worth a bit of tidy up with a hobby knife and then a small touch-up when any paint has been removed.

Yep, thanks for the tip. I'll do it for the next models I get, the ones that I've assembled now are going to stay like this.

Interesting alternative paint scheme. I like the drybrush/texture on it - it almost looks like a statue/granite/stony kind of armor look.

Ugh... rather obvious that you didnt get rid of the moulding lines. Sorry, noticed that instantly.

Anyways, looks great like this...still loving the silver grey knights though.

While I love silver, knight-in-shining-armor Grey Knights, I can also appreciate alternate color schemes. The problem is the over-drybrushing... it just makes the model look chalky and rushed, combined with the mold lines just kills it.

Ultimately, they are your little plastic men so you can do with as you please, I would try to get away from an over reliance of drybrushing. It is a fine technique, but it has it's uses and limits. And please, don't let what I say dictate what you do. I you like it, that's all that matters and keep on rocking!

Not too shabby. It is nice to see non-metallic GKs (gotta say those red GKs are nice too Seb).

I agree, ease up on the drybrushing slightly, tone it down another shade with another washing, and you're golden.

Keep in mind, if you like it, ignore me altogether Except for the praise, let that go straight to your head...

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

This X100.

Drybrushing is a great technique, but I think you've used it a bit too much here.

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"
