Subject: alternate model to the haqqislam bikers?

so my mate and I are jumping into Infinity to see what all the fuss is about. I went for haqqislam based purely on visual appeal (I believe this tactic will secure me many a victory on the tabletop!) however, there is just one model I'm not very keen on,
the Kum motorized troops. Just something about the 'monowheel motorbike' look just doesn't sit with me to well. Ergo, anyone got suggestions for alternative 28mm bikes? Doesn't have to be 'wheeled' either, hover bikes would be cool as well,
just looking for something with a 'haqqislam' feel to them.

Miri & Samanda by Antenociti's workshop are on grav bikes not dissimilar to the monobikes.
Eureka miniatures do 28mm scale trailbikes (two-wheels) for their Australian SAS line - and one of the options for the rider is a shemagh (head covering/wrap/tea-towel look). Singles or packs of three (and possibly more).

I have all 5 of these and although I do think they look better in the "flesh" and in a group I understand your concerns.
Why not just leave the wheel off and put some sort of thruster underneath the wheel arch?

What ya mean the monowheels aren't to your taste? Think they are a must to anyone who has seen this Manga movie
(Incidentally, how damned awesome were the tanks in that film. I would love for someone to make a model version of one of those things..
These are the ones Chromedog mentioned:
Think they look nice, but I will probably just use them as civilians - they might need a bit of conversion work to make them look like combatants.
Another idea might be to use the Yu-Jing Aragoto bikers, perhaps even with a little conversion work? Of course you could also field them as-is using the mercenary rules:

Personally, I'd avoid hover bikes. Anti-grav tech doesn't even exist in Infinity in the first place, and Haqqislam is hardly the most technologically advanced faction.

Nice models - I don't think I'd ever seen them before, so thanks for pointing them out!
I think they'd work great for Haqqislam bikers!

I just want to point out that it looks like it's not that hard to put wheels on those hoverbikes.

Actually this is one game where you CAN base it off how they look and do pretty well.
The Aragoto would work pretty well I think. A little weapon swap and a color to tie them in with the rest of the force and it will look pretty good.
Actually it would not be that difficult to add a wheel to the back of the bike. Or even two to make them look like an ATV.

I've got four of those aragotos.
The spitfires rock. Especially when you distract your opponent with one unit (so he's facing the wrong way) and then shoot him in the back of the head with them.

I'm not a fan of the somewhat silly Kum Bikers either.
On the topic of Antenociti's Workshop, I've always loved their take on monocycles:
