right so Im getting into blood bowl and hoping to make up a personnel team, Im hoping to use catachan and cadian models but wondering if you guys have any good modeling ideas or some websites were i could get american football heads, body's etc. or failing that some ideas how i could make the catachan and cadian models look a bit more blood bowley??

I think the empire regiments set would be nice for catchers, throwers and maybe linemen and then greatsswords for blitzers. Another way which doesn't include conversions is buying GW:s "new" blood bowl team. Cadian helmeted heads with the earguards & radio shaved off & a GS face guard would work perfect for football helmets tbh.

I think the shoulder pads and armor for Cadians will look good to. The main issue will be dynamic looking arms and legs.

There a few modular human teams out there (not made by GW) and some come with helmeted heads. Those may look good on the plastic torsos you plan on using.

Check out TalkFantasyFootball.org for more advice. A lot of the BloodBowl modellers are there.

You can find the plastic Blood Bowl humans fairly cheaply on eBay; I'd be inclined to get 16 of them, then snip off their heads and gloves to convert some Empire plastics. Alternatively, the older metal Blood Bowl humans aren't bad (Gary Morley's cartoonish sculpts don't look so out of place in the its slightly silly setting.) and can be found second hand for a few bob.
