I am currently assembling a MIL-24 Hind Helicopter in order to convert into a Vendetta/Valkyrie, and I'm not sure if I should leave in the rotters or not. What does Dakka recommend? Also how big is the base that a Vendetta/Valkyrie use?
For reference

Well I can see it as going two ways, keep the rotors and say your guard just has some unique aircraft for whatever reason, or cut the rotors off and build out the engines to give it a meaner more "aircraft" look

I tend to think that rotors are too flimsy at this scale, or if they are sturdy, then they are too thick. Also I think it looks funny for them to be static when the model is suposed to be flying. ou could replace them with a circular sheet of some transparent material to make it look ike motion, ot you could also probably fit Stormraven/talon engines top give it a more VTOL look

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
