The character may have been annoying, but the actor is really cool.

Hes been working on a lot of projects including "The Guild" with Felicia Day, "Big Bang Theory", and now "Geek and Sundry"

Yeh he's able to do things like Big Bang Theory and is not afraid to have them poke fun at him and his star trek character. He's a cool guy and a gamer too.

He does seem to be taking advantage of the Wesley hatred to cast himself in tv/web shows as the jerk/rival to any geek heroes.

He does basically play the exact same character in Eureka, The Guild and Big Bang.
