Yeah, I accidentally dropped a guy on the floor once and he broke into pieces.
These things should be a little tougher than that, not too worried about the paint job with 2 layers of clear coat varnish, but it shouldn't break that easily.

I think sometimes the problem with plastic glue - any plastic glue really - is that one uses too much of it.
However, its much easier to work with when you've got more of it, and its so easy to apply too much.
It doesn't hold together on its own with just a little bit, but just a little bit gives a stronger bond.
Plastic glue is supposed to melt the plastic just a bit, making a sturdy bond. But it doesn't do this so well when there's a big glob of glue.

I've started using super glue and haven't had too many problems with it (other than gluing a piece to my fingers )
One of the problems I've had with super glue is when placing the glue on paint or primer, not to bare plastic.
I've had a piece come off, not because the super glue broke - but because the primer separated from the plastic.
The glue was on the primer, not the plastic, so it wasn't the glue that failed.

There's an episode of Mythbusters about super glue, they show just how super strong it really is.
If the stuff can hold a couch on the ceiling, it can hold the arms on a space marine.
