There's a strong rumour there will be one next month align with some revisions to Comdex faqs.
Will have to hold tight till then. Of course they will probably answer the questions no-one is asking and ignore the hot potatoes!

I want to say 2-3 months. I think the FAQ came out right after the Starter Set, but I've been drunk a few times since then and don't trust my memory...

There's a difference between genuine rules questions, and tiny miss-wordings that the internet community has expanded to a thousand times their original meaning and declared to be evidence of a wicked conspiracy against the public.

And there are some that appear straightforward the first time read, and then something peeks it's head out thereafter. The entire swooping flying monstrous creature + grounding test debacle is one of those. Common sense and my first read-through dictated that once the MC was grounded it just counted as a foot monstrous creature. Deeper inspection revealed that the rulebook didn't mention any loss of the hard-to-hit rule. At this point I put out a mass-text to my friends who play to get their opinion and it's so far divided down the middle in a RAI and RAW argument - A FAQ is required simply to quell arguments here now, as well as for other players too.
Sometimes it's just necessary to have black-and-white clarification so players don't argue. In the above example i'm cool with either interpretation the FAQ might go for, but I want to have something concrete either way.

They did an excellent job releasing the FAQ's for all of the codecies when 6th edition dropped. I thought they handled that very well.
As to the some of the more glaring rules issues in the BRB, same old GW.

They didn't answer a lot of important questions from the codexes either though. while the IG one was fairly thorough, the ork one made almost no sense. they devoted tons of effort to stuff nobody takes, and "cleared up" several things we already knew, like how the deffrolla works.
The codexes also need a new faq just to deal with all the crazy ally stuff thats popping up. Things like KFF working with allies or not, do special abilities that target enemies in an Aoe affect desperate allies (there's a guy at our club plannin on taking some nurgle demon that has an ability that hits any "enemy" within 6". He's taking a gretchin mob and sticking it next to the demon so it's power will go of, kill the grots, and buff his daemon prince. That DEFFINITELY needs to be addressed one way or the other) There's just a lot of things that arent very clear right now, and the sooner a good faq comes out and addresses them the better
