Land Raider -250
in total -370

Armor 14 and 4 hull points is a hard nut to crack short of lances or multi-meltas. With 5 servitors the Tech priest has a 100% chance to fix the LR. the point of this is to ask is it worth it?

Well, against things that need to glance it to death like long fang spam, that is a great idea. However, all it takes is one penetrating hit, and it might all be for nothing. Its a gamble really, and depends on the army.

95% of the time, land raiders are not blown up by glancings but by penetratings. That tech priest won't be much use if a stormtrooper squad deep-strikes right next to it.

Or someone with a Vanquisher cannon or equivilent anti armor weapon (lances, meltas up close and so on) get a good shot.

You can fix hull points from glances all day long (unless its a wall of lead n lasers sweeping over the tank) but 1 pen and 1 and its boom

Its a good idea but 1 lucky pen roll ends it abruptly

Well most of the shots against AV14 will be AP1 so a single penetrating and 4+ will blow it.

I think the Burnas/Lootas with 3 mekz with oilers in a battlewagon is better. 3X50% with the reroll means you can gain 3 hull points a turn. It costs a lot less so you can take more of them. The overwatch shooting kind of cancels out the lower armor on the back.

I always found that it was much more awkward trying to kill a landraider that wasn't fool enough to be driving right into your melta range. I'm very curious about how this would fair with some sort of good bubble wrap / cover save / invulnerable save. Of course this is a lot to pay for a unit that pretty much only shoots 2 lascannons, tankshocks and maybe contests last turn.

I can see things getting better for immovable objects with all the dumb fliers scaring everyone. I rarely hear people excited about how many meltas they field anymore, it's all about their glancing ability and weird wound allocation squads.

It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax...

You can not get into another codices transport, so no.
Then the equivalent with techmarines is doable, especially as they can come and assault, and assaulting into vehicles now works well but still it isn't great.

As long as your opponent isn't sportin long-range weapons capabale of penning your armor, you're quite alright (Tau Railguns and lascannons come to mind)

I think it would be a waste, unless you plan to use the land raider to camp your home objective.
I have been toying with a similar idea: using a master of the forge , a techmarine with servo harness or a combination of those.
While it may not be competitive i think it will confer some fluff armor to my salamanders.
With two power fist attack, a flamer (vulkanised to twinlinkedness), a twinlink plasma pistol plus any power weapon you have spare points for,i think those would fit right in with a terminator squad, they have no invul, but they can los at 2+.Sure you only get one 4+ roll to repair but if your goal is to deliver an assault squad somewhere it can keep your raider mobile in case of bad terrain roll...I know that seem unlikely but one of my opponent never fail to immobilise his so i finally found a way to use that awesome model while losing in style.

you also get to bolster ruins as a bonus
