Absolutely huge image, so please do click and zoom (the two identical shots are totally on purpose and in no way something I overlooked and only noticed after I uploaded)

I painted up this FW dread for a friend to a mid-character standard, he was a lot of fun as I tried out a lot of new techniques on him and learned a lot. I've never really weathered before so there was a lot of experimenting going on, and it likely does show a bit in some places. His banner was a bit of a nightmare, trying to fit a full wolf design onto it was near impossible due to how much space the wolf head took up, so I had to compromise and use the navy and yellow diamond scheme with something smaller and easier to fit on, which was a wolf skull.

There are a lot of things I would change with this guy looking back on him, but I am still totally happy with how he turned out Was great fun to paint something very dark and dirty.

The pic is ginormous, just click it and then scroll wheel to zoom Glad people like him, his owner was thrilled so I am too. Have some massive wolves with riders to finish up now with the same scheme.

Great job there sister!!! Please post pics of the wolfs. I am sure that dakka wants to see them to. I always have trouble doing the banners. Bye the time I get the dread done the banner is just to much to really work top notch.

Just forgot what I was going to say.

I was expecting to be impressed, but, even so, I was still taken aback. From the basing to the freehand to the overall effect - great work!
