Well since Necrons didn't create them anymore, maybe the Emperor created Pariahs as a weapon against chaos.

Sounds like the most reasonable explanation. He is the God Emperor of MAN, and pariahs are a powerful weapon against chaos.

The non-existant race of the non-existant CODEX of 6th ed, where the Emperor founded a race beyond the scope of HIS beloved humans, is: non-existant. At least in publications of GW.

How about tidbits of rumors of the interwebz aren't part of the background of 40k until they can be found in printed or digital releases from GW or its sub-companies or its licensed products?

1.) Guess with 6th edition Codex (there is none) you mean 6th edition rulebook.
2.) Guess with founded you mean found, as the Emperor created Space Marines, not not a race.
3.) Do you have a quote or source (page)?
4.) The rumours said it is the Tau, but we will see when their Codex is released.

Nor I. Would the OP care to explain what he's talking about, ideally with a page reference?

I think he's referring to the 6th ed rumors that said the Tau were created as a warp-immune race by the Emperor and are a protectorate of Ultramar. A horrible BS rumor that didnt end up being true in the least.

Yeah sounds like it - the Tau are not immune to the Warp by any means - they are "blunt" but all that means is that they have very little presence in the Warp and so are harder to perceive by Dameons etc.

The rulebook lists Tau and Space Marines as battlebrothers. Would make some sense if Terra found out Tau are immune to Chaos and essential for the survival of mankind, delegating Space Marines to save the Tau and fight alongside them against Chaos. This is what the rumour said. Otherwise SM and Tau being battlebrothers doesn't make sense. Guess we will see with the next Codex.

BTW in the novel Fire Warrior all attempts to corrupt the "one in a million" who might be susceptible to corruption fail miserably. In the controversial book Xenology, documents hint at the fact that Eldar created ethereals to "create a race immune to Chaos". So if GW develops this background further in that direction, it is not without hints in the past.

Dear Princess Celestia and God-Emperor... Emperor,

Today we taught the members of a massive Chaos incursion in the Segmentum Obscurum the meaning of true friendship... and pain, mostly the pain as we pretty much caved all their heads in.

Full battle report to follow.

On a more serious note I'd still like a page reference or a screen cap or something here.
