Does anyone in the dakka dakka community of a good 40k roleplay and if you dont know or their is not one would anyone be interested in helping me start one on dakka dakka some how.

nothing preset or already set out im a pretty good GM i have wrote my on fantasy rules anyhow it was a suggestion but I was more thinking along the lines of rouge trader if you are interested and can get other people in on it i would be willing to GM it

I'd be up for some Rogue Trader or Dark Heresy, I've had a pyromaniac SoB I've been wanting to roll up for some time now.

Not gonna lie, totally thought the same thing...thought this site was going down the path of the kink..

Something im also worry about is that people will be able to get around me due to my lack of 40k knowledge i know plenty but a few details especially a few things involving tau and nids but whatever also how would i format it would i have it in a forum at scheduled times twice a week. But i would not be using any pre set rules.

Depending on what game we play, I might be interested.

Are we allowed to have RP groups on Dakka? 'Cause I didn't think we were. However, if we can, you can probably count me in. I have a DH character whom I've put a lot of work into, and I'd like to test his mettle against the Imperium's enemies.

It would be something along the lines of rouge trader

So you just want to make up a game of your own?

I'd rather use the incredibly expensive books I bought, rather than have ideas thrown about at random.

I do agree with DeffDred. Not using any pre-set rules leads to people god moding and all sorts of other problems.

I would also be interested in a play by post thing, skype games tend to be at poor times for me (since groups tend to be mostly UK/US), so if this heads down that path, colour me very very eager. I would love to have a crack at Rogue Trader.

And as you can probably guess from mentioning Rogue Trader, I'd prefer an already existing ruleset

Apparently you can find scans of the gamebooks online - though only terrible people with no scruples download those from places like Piratebay.
