Does anyone else feel they should have been made into Flying Monstrous Creatures

They are definitely monstrous, and their wings look like they are natural flyers

Vespids are winged bipedal Insectoids, a little bit bigger than a Human. Prolly on average with a Space Marine.

For something to be a Flying monstrous critter, they would have to be...well Monstrous is size. If Vespids are Flying Monstrous critters, then my Crisis suits better be too. Because the Crisis suits is Dreadnaught size.

Vespids just needed a better gun. They have too low of a toughness combined with too low of a save and too high of a point tag to justify a 12" single shot gun.

I think they need to be reworked from the ground up, but I think something that really should have been reconsidered was making their guns the rumored S3 AP2 template weapons.

Yeah, its even shorter range but at least it going to kill stuff no matter horde or expensive elite units.

Yeah, not a FMC at all. Though if a Vespid Queen were produced she might qualify.

I would love to see the Nuetron Disruptor given extra range, an extra shot and or become a template weapon.

Vespids have a MC, the queen, but there is no model or rules for the thing.

They're roughly the same size as most other infantry models, so no.

The Vespid might get a MC. They are supposedly getting new heavy support choices.

I don't think they need a better gun. Vespid are designed to sneak around the table and ambush a MEQ unit.

Tied and gagged in the back of your car

Just cut their point cost to 10-12 points per model.

And get them out of the Elites slot.

They're fast attacks. They are just so bad that no one uses them.
