I need some help right now in my 500 point list , this is what stands ( tourny is SAT).

Company Command Squad - 50 pts.

Veteran squad ( 70) x2 plasma guns (30pts) +Chimera (55 pts. ) = 155 pts.

Veteran squad ( 70pts. ) x2 Plasma guns(30 pts. ) + Chimera (.55pts. ) = 155 pts.

Vendetta Gunship ( 130 pts. )

this all adds up to 490 I have 10 points to spend now what I was wondering is do I spend that last 10 on a Melta ( but I have AT covered basically) or an autocannon or heavy bolter. ? I would appreciate any and all help , expected opponents are necrons , CSM , SM , DE , eldar , Orks , and possibley Tyranids ,

Put a couple of flamers on the Command Squad. Right now they are standing outside alone (unless you give them one of the Chimeras). Some flamers make them nasty anti-troop (especially against Orks and the like) plus when they get charged (kill the general) your "wall of death" (D3 auto-hits each) is much better than a few more snapshots hitting on a 6.
(EDIT) Remember, if you put the CCS in the Vendetta they can not issue orders. Vendettas do not have the "Command Vehicle" rule.

They hate us putting out direct points cost...something about GW proprietary blah blah blah.
But you can shoehorn at least 2 on the CCS without changing anything around.

I would roll with an Autocannon if you have the chance, that extra 12" range and strength over the Heavy Bolter might be the difference between a kill and not. Imo, go for the stronger weapon; nothing like firing 5 kraks into SM hehe

Nah. Toss the flamers in the CCS and have the CCS embarked in the Vendetta. You can drop it on an annoying target, or toss it down as a last minute contesting unit.

So right now im looking at Either taking 2 Flamers or an Autocannon , with the Opponents that im facing i don't know which one would be better, i know the Ork player takes x2 30 boy squads with a Weird boy for an HQ and TankBustas as his elites , so im leaning a bit toward the Flamers but i could still roll either way on it , but i want to be able to Stop a Rhino rush filled with Khrone Beserkers.......

I'd say get a auto cannon. Possibility of sniping his BP/PK nob on 6's.

I would go With the flamer /Drop to counter Objective.
Reason being you are highly mobile army you want all rapid fire/Assault weapons the Auto cannon will just be snapfiring not realy worth it IMOP

Do you ever go into a fight thinking "there's no point giving it my best, I'll get another chance later?"

We only ever get one shot marlin. Life is one shot
