Hi all

Finally decided to start a PM blog with my armies. Since it is a PM blog I figured i would start with my projects then add in my armies later so....

First up, Ork Defence Line.

Yes my Orks are red... The Prawfut of the Red Waaagh (warboss) is convinced Khorn is either Gork or Mork... or both
C&C welcomed. Thanks for looking

While they look great, how do they compare (size wise) to an aegis line?

the bases are 5" and 2" im told the ADL is 4x 1-7/8" and 4x 5 -1/8" so i just moved the 1/8" from the big to the small

as far as height i tried doing peep holes at eye lvl and low parts at brace gun level while trying to go not much over on the eye level height. I think if anything this will provide less TLOS block than the official one but hey its orks

FYI (I had to measure the Aegis defense line for a commissioned army display board) each "face" (the vaguely "U" shaped bit) is 2" wide, each side panel is .5" the center panel is 1" wide, and 1.5" tall tapering down to the "joiner" panel which is 1" tall.

New project... Skyshield Landing Pad
The majority of this is built out of clipboard... uhh... board. I generally use it as bases for my terrain (like my defence line) as its the easiest thing to get a hold of in the small town i live in. My wal-mart exacto knife box thingy also contributed one of its hinges to this project
Enjoy!

Cant wait to get this finished. The design will be out of plastruct... just waiting for the delivery.

Forgot to add this image.... all the little shiny things are obviously magnets.... and it is designed that way so it can be transported like this!!!

Like the dakka jet conversions! Second one reminds me of the FW Avenger.

These were finished a few months ago but figured I could update with them.
My flying base stems are magnetized and reinforced with green stuff to look like a small obelisk with the necron symbol carved in it, similar to a miniature version of the terrain piece... if it wasn't broken in half and laying on the ground

I dig the chaos orks, it fits in well with (older and cooler) fluff. and necrons look nice with purple. I wonder if you could give some tips on kit bashing?

@ Kit temple
I could possibly do that... however the the Dakka Jet and Valkyrie actually took very little work to accomplish... They pretty much fit together like they were meant to be lol I did promise some better pictures of them though... I will have to do that soon sorry

UPDATE!!! Finally got my plastic so I was able to start work on the landing pad again.

WIP so far

C&C always welcome!

After a long while finally have some new things to share. First up is some of my recent terrain.

This one is still WIP, but since its the first time I have tried using Real Water I wanted to share it.

This is my sons contribution to my 40k terrain... Which he does not know about yet.
