Ive been wanting to make a white scars army but based around the hit and run story line but i really dislike the whole biker thing. Would it be acceptable to use assault marines instead?

I paint White scars and i BARELY use fast attack. I like them beause they are a warrior race. I mean i use static defenses ALOT

It's 100% legal and their lone special character doesn't need to come on a bike. Hell, Khan's model is on foot. Put Marines in Rhinos and have Assault Marines do their thing, then take Khan and have most of the army outflank.
