Hello, as you can probably tell by the way I'm introducing this, I'm very new to the Dakka Dakka forums. So I'm a bit nervous. However, since I began playing Warhammer 40k several years ago, I've always loved the idea of a Chaos Traitors army. Thus, I've been spending the last few months working on and off on my very own fandex. Then, I joined Dakka Dakka, so now I've decided I'll post my piece of work for the whole world to see.

Please, do not be too critical. I write terrible fluff, much of which had been taken directly for the Warhammer 40k wiki, along with many pictures. As I said, I am new to this forum, so if the inclusion of artwork and fluff text that is not mine is illegal, I will gladly remove them and repost the fandex. However, unless I do need to make these changes, I would ask that most criticism be directed at the rules themselves (a conglomeration of the Tempus Fugitives Codex, the Forgeworld Renegades and Heretics codex, and some of my own creations), and not any forum rules I broke, or how terrible/stupid the fluff is.

Ugh, now that that's out of the way, I give you, without further ado:

Oh! And before I forget, I have yet to include any weapon/armor/equipment descriptions, so feel free to ask about those and I'll explain what they do.

Taking me a while to chew through this so I dont have much to say as of right now, but Rampage is already a USR so you'll need a new name for that

Shoot I should have mentioned...this is for Fifth edition. I haven't yet forked out the cash for a Sixth ed. rulebook. You should probably know that...

Ahh, that also explains the lack of hull points too

I like it though I would recommend removing the khorn options for psykers and perhaps add a tzeench level of "classy" traitors and definitely expand the dark mechanicum and rogue mechanicum presence within the codex. Maybe even add some units from the 3rd/4th ed sisters codex? (they have a few pages at the back of the book that is essentially a small codex for mutants and traitors.)

All in all good read.

Ergo, Hope is evil, and you should stop having it, but you can't have despair because then Nurgle gets a free ride. You could be angry about this, but that'd just get Khorne's jollies off. And heck you can't even get your own jollies off without Slaanesh giggling and farting out some daemons. And if you manage to avoid all that, some genestealers might infiltrate your planet and bring a hive fleet crashing down on you any way.

I like what I read of the codex (I didn't read the whole thing yet, there's a lot to sift through) but it does capture how I'd feel a renegade army would look like. A few suggestions:

Emperium is spelled Imperium (unless of course your taking the piss out of the Emperor).

A Deamon Prince would never allow himself to be a heavy support unit, he would always count as an HQ. I see no reason not to have basilisks, colossi, hyrdas, or other stolen Imperial armor in his place however. Perhaps even a Soul Grinder or other unit of your design that would be the points equivalent of a Demon Prince.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I'll spend some time and rework the codex a bit, and then repost it with changes added.
