Anyone know of a good place to place near the Upper West Side? Or anyone who plays around here?

I usually make the train-ride from Queens to Greenwich Village to play at the GW there. Small store though, and only 2 tables. Wish I knew of an alternative, but it does the job.

How's the shop? Is there some way to set up games with people, or do you just sort of show up and hope someone is there?

Not the upper west side, but there is The Complete Strategist, they have alot more tables and the players are pretty nice, but its not exclusively 40k.

From what I hear, if you're a competitive player, you want to head over to Complete Strategist.

I've been to the GW in Greenwich a few times and from what I saw they were mostly casual players. But if that's your thing go for it.

Fortunately for me I have friends that play so I don't have to make the long trek from Queens to Manhattan every time I want to play.
