Hey Everyone, I had an idea for a new special character and I have worked out stats and equipment and a points cost, but I could always use friendly advice and am hoping you can all help me!

THE ANTI-NECRON

Fluff: Kralyn, The Soul Eater was the Overlord for The Nameless, a small Necron dynasty. When the war against the C'Tan was waged the entire dynasty was killed. Kralyn phased back to his tomb world just before his death so his weakened body could be repaired by the scarabs, but when he got there he was a little surprised. While his dynasty had gone to war the Imperium had investigated the planet. They turned it into a hive city and sent a group of Adeptus Astartes in to exterminate all Necron remains. When he returned his world had been over run and there were no scarabs to rebuild his body. His body started breaking down and eventually he was a pile of metal. With no resurrection orbs to save him or scarabs to rebuild him The Soul Eater died and his essence went missing. A long time later after many Ork Waaaghs had been waged on the planet and many wars had been fought the planet turned into a training ground where a new chapter of the Adeptus Astartes started. Kralyn's essence had vanished into some corridor of darkness where he saw visions of The Old Ones. The Old Ones convinced him that the Necrons were evil and that the Silent King waged the war on the C'Tan because he wanted to thin out the Necrons. They told him that the Silent King didn't want other powerful overlords like Kralyn to try and overthrow him so he risked the entire race just to kill the overlords. Kralyn fell for the lies of The Old Ones and eventually grew to hate the Necrons. No one knows how or why, but eventually Kralyn's metal body was eventually reformed. It was forged from the dark and given special weapons and with the Overlord's new found hatred for the Necrons his essence found his new dark body. Now Kralyn travels through the dark looking for Necrons to slaughter. He also travels through the dark looking for C'Tan to seek his vengeance on. No one knows his name except the Necron Royalty who have read the tales of him, but most just call him The Anti-Necron.

Wargear: The Soul Eater, Specter Aura, The Silent Blade, Amulet of the Fallen


The Soul Eater: A special gauss weapon forged from the dark. It was a gift from The Old Ones meant for taking out high priority targets from a long distance. The Soul Eater is said to be so powerful and dark that it literally eats the souls out of humans and Xenos alike.

Strength= 7
Armor Piercing= 2
Type= Assault 2
Special= Master Crafted

Specter Aura: The Anti-Necron is partially forged from the dark. Parts of his body seem to be living shadows and he can travel through the darkness.
To represent this The Anti-Necron gains the following benefits:
May always take a 5+ Cover Save
If already in cover, +1 to Cover Save
The Anti-Necron moves through 'Difficult Terrain' as if it were normal terrain,
and moves through 'Dangerous Terrain' as if it were 'Difficult Terrain.'
The Anti-Necron may also phase through terrain and does not need to go around it.

The Silent Blade: A wrist mounted dagger forged from the dark. It was another gift from The Old Ones. Always covered in a strange dark poison that is said to be so strong it can kill almost anyone on contact.
Special= Poisened [Wounds on a 3+]

Amulet of the Fallen: An amulet forged from the dark and filled with the
crying souls of fallen Necrons from Kralyn's dynasty. The amulet gives the following benefits:
+4 Invulnerable Save

Special Rules: Raised in the Shadows, "I Shall Never Be Defeated", Necron Hatred, Independant Character, Created from Darkness

Raised in the Shadows: The Anti-Necron was not only forged from the dark,
but raised in the shadows. The Anti-Necron gains the following benefits:
Is not affected by Night Fighting
Gains the 'Infiltrate' and 'Scouts' Universal Special Rules.

"I Shall Never Be Defeated": The Anti-Necron never surrenders and will not stand defeat. His sole purpose in life is to kill the Necrons and will not stop until his essence his consumed.
To represent this The Anti-Necron gains the following benefits:
Gains the 'Eternal Warrior', 'Fearless', and 'Feel No Pain' Universal Special Rules.
Can always choose to fail or pass any leadership, morale, or psychic test.

Necron Hatred: The Anti-Necron was built to hate Necrons and will stop at nothing to kill
any Necron. The Anti-Necron gains the following benefits:
Gains the 'Preferred Enemy: Necrons' Universal Special Rule

Created from Darkness: The Anti-Necron is created from the dark. He is treated as if he has both a
Resurrection Orb and Reanimation Protocols and can roll for each.

Options: None

*The Anti-Necron can only be used against an army that includes a Necron unit(s), but can attack any enemy unit; Necron or not.
The Anti-Necron can side with any army except Necrons. The Anti-Necron can be added to any Codex using this profile except Codex: Necrons.
However, The Anti-Necron cannot go withing 6" of any ally unit.

Neat idea, but this already exists.
It's called Sanguinary Guard. Seriously, 2+ armor with mix of power weapons/fists, jump packs and plasma/melta?
That's my anti-necron.

The Imperium, hell, Man didn't exist back during the War in Heaven. Sorry, but with how it's written currently, it's pretty much impossible for this to occur.

Just give the guy night vision and shrouding instead of 5+ cover in the open and +1 to cover saves. Oh, and he has EW, FNP, and is T5. About 270 points would be a place to start.
