I amended this list from olim's 2000 pt. beast for league play tomorrow. olim did a great job of outlining his aggressive deep strike tactics but I wanted to ask what weaknesses the 1850 pt. list conveys and how to combat them.

p.s. I would like to swap Typhus for a CSM DP (and more Nurglings) but I am currently exhausting my DP models... Also, I always thought Nurgle's "fluff number" should have been 3 due to the tri-symbol on Nurgle-related models.

I like the list, I'm not a huge fan of having all daemon princes in the heavy slot because the soulgrinder brings a lot of shots to the table. I think Typhus would fit really well in this list and you should not drop him. Have you thought about dropping the great unclean one and throwing in Epidemus in there? I love his special ability of adding buffs to everyone, plus you can throw in another Herald with your squads of plaguebearers.

No cloud of flies on the Princes?

I reckon the biggest weakness of this list is flying vehicles, i am yet to discover how to effectively deal with them, maybe some CSM havocs with MoN.

Just finished the league game against IG with SoB allies in a draw. Got ahead of myself and did rapid fire to forgo an assault that would have won the game.

The DPs performed wonderfully, racking up the Tally to 20+ on turn 3.

Flyers were still a bear to deal with as the DPs didn't really want to chase down Vendetas just to glance them with Breath.

All in all I liked how it performed but I still probably need a Defense Line as the local meta involves soo many flyers...

p.s. No cloud on the DPs as their point totals are already astronomical...

cloud is only 5 points. 5 points isn't going to make any difference to a already high points cost.
