Hey guys,
while I was at gencon I had the pleasure of meeting with the creative director of Warmachine/Hordes, and I might be doing some art for them in the future.

I'm not terribly familiar with the universe, but it looks like I might be doing equipment art soon (weapons, armor, guns, etc); do you guys have suggestions on where I could familiarize myself with some of this stuff?

Also, lots of pictures are always good

Thanks!

Should be in my sig, but here is my website

http://www.galefire.com

This site is acting funny for me, I don't see sigs or avatars, but I don't have them turned off in the control panel. Weird.

Quick google.

Other than that, most of the art is in their books. Their website will have some art and details of which books. Art prints and here as well.

just noticed the equipment art bit. Their magazine, no quarter, has articles called guts and gears that generally has an expansion of a warjack/warbeast/other's equipment.

I've googled their stuff, I was more referring to something similar to lexicanum that 40k has; like a big sprawling Wiki of everything Warmachine.

Not really anything out there that has it all.

best thing i can say is dive into the game, get a feel for the game, read some of the Warcaster fluff in the Books.

Knowing the fluff, type of Army it is, what their background is will go a long way.

You want Battlecollege then. That's Warmahordes' Lexicanum.

Problem is Battlecollege is tactical not fluff oriented.

This. This is the closest, but it's very sparse and not much art: http://ironkingdoms.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

My suggestion is to find someone you know with the D20 Iron Kingdom RPG books, they have the largest amount of art.

They also sell back issues of No Quarter on their online store for $1.00 each.

GW Rules Interpretation Syndrom. GWRIS. Causes people to second guess a rule in a book because that's what they would have had to do in a GW system.
