This is my very first conversion (so be gentle). It's been cleaned up/sanded a bit since these photos to clean up some rough bits and extra glue. Basically I took a pair of Firewarriors and placed them again Devilfish bits that I incorrectly didn't place inside my Devilfish before assembling it, put a Crisis Shield on the front, and tried to spice it up with little bits here and there. The right Firewarrior has the binoculars from the Devilfish commander.

It's fairly cool, but that looks like a standard pulse rifle if I'm not mistaken! Seems kinda disappointing to have a sniper armed with an average infantry rifle. The conversion work is pretty well done though, and it looks pretty cool.

Yea that's usually the feedback I get, I kinda like the idea of him just kinda being a basic infantry, lining up a solid shot from a rail rifle thanks to his spotter.

To improve it, and make it look Rail Rifle-y, I reccomend taking a drones sensor spine and trim it down, drill 2 holes in the front, then file down the front of the Pulse Rifle, sticking on your new long barrel. It's how I did it for my Sniper Drone conversions.


(I really need to take new photos. These and their spotter have been painted for probably 6 months now...)

I love that idea, I may have to steal that lol

It's simple, but effective.
I should do up a few Firewarriors with the extended barrel too... because why not.

I'm also debating removing all the EMP Grenade Launchers from my Pulse Carbines, because I'm not a huge fan of how the underslung launcher looks... but that's idle rambling xD

Also I do remove the underslung parts from some of my carbines on some. Also the underslung grenade launcher fits great as a top handle for other weapons. I have a Firewarrior carrying a Plasma Rifle using one lol.
