Say a new chapter is formed from blood angel and Imperial fists geneseed. Can this happen. Which Primogenitor would they praise more, and Who would have more influence in the chapter? Also what effects to the gene seed would happen. Black rage&red thirst? or More of an Imperial fist chemistry. Or a Mix and match?

Usually a new chapter is founded with a single type of gene-seed. Just so problems like this wouldn't happen.

I also think the Magos Biologis would avoid using Blood Angel gene-seed for a new founding based on the degenerative nature of the seed.

If you were making your own fluff I'd say they probably would honor both or perhaps one while showing traits of another.

Rather than the "Black Rage" they might see it as ferver or visions of Dorn's death rather than Sanguinius'.

I typed Blood Angle like a noob.

Messing around with geneseed only happened during the 13th & 21st foundings. The Primogenitor would most likely remain unknown, since the chapters would be pissed about the mechanicus altering their Primarch's legacy. The result would likely be Angry Marines and some nerd rage.

Imperial Fists and Blood Angels? Uhhhh...

Well, the minotaurs were said to be made from a whole bunch of geneseeds. Maybe one was fists and one was angels. It turned them into boastful, thuggish spartan clones.

That's kind of what i was thinking.

not in disguise, they broke away and decided to be loyal, yet they're still mad.

I wish the cryo sealed vaults containing the Traitor legions Geneseed would be opened and it be used to form new chapters. The Geenseed itself is not corrupt because it was harvested before the HH occurred so therefore wouldn't corrupt marines created with it.

It would be kinda fun fluff wise.

In some cases - like the Blood Ravens, if some theories are to be believed - it's already been established the pure strains of corrupt legions can survive as pure chapters. Unfreezing some old geneseed should have the same effect

Yeah, what is it, Blood Ravens - Suspected Thousand Sons geneseed, Minotaurs - Suspected World Eaters geneseed, and Red Scorpions - Suspected Emperor's Children geneseed. Did I miss any of the suspected?

I'm making up a space marine chapter, from unknown gene-seed yet they are fiercely loyal to the raven gaurd & following chapters. Mostly they are identical to the Raptors.
