Hello Dakka,
Me and my friends recently decided to start playing a basic zombie survival game based off Necromunda's rules, and set in the 41st millennium, where we each make a survivor and see who can survive the longest over time against the zombies. Now the problem is, while we're happily making survivors out of spare bits, we don't have any zombies. I've seen the GW zombies, but find that parts of them look a bit out of proportion, and they all carry various farming tools, which would be almost non-existent in a Hive city. So essentially, I would like to find lots of zombie models that aren't really carrying anything specific, or a way of making GW zombies suitably 40k'd. If anyone could assist me in this I would be most grateful.

You could feasibly use zombies from Zombiesss!!!, they're about.. £5-7 for 50? I think, though they might be a little small..

Just checked it, Zombies!!! Zombies are about the right size.
They're maybe 1mm shorter than your 'standard' human.

A bag of 100 is around £7:

Someone at my FLGS picked up the Wargames Factory 30 modern zombie box at GenCon, and it looked pretty good. Can't beat $16 for thirty walkers.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'll use the Zombiesss!!! models simply because they seem like a cheap way to build up a horde fast, though I'm wondering how varied their poses and such are. If anyone has any knowledge on this, your reply would be most appreciated.

The entirety of the variatons in pose is from how the plastic warps in storage, otherwise pretty much the contents of each bag is identical.

It's pretty much mildly different arm positions, different angles for walking, etc

Variation in actual model would mostly be from the different bags such as babes, blowns, standard, dogs, etc. or paint job if you care to paint them.

It's pretty much the identical faceless horde of living dead circa cheesy old Zombie films.
