So this one took me about 3 hours. Lotsa work here. I wanted to make an ork flyer with a stealth vibe to it. I went a bit more symetrical than usual but I figuer the ork flyer is pretty symetrical anyway and planes generally need two wings. The hull is a devilfish, I used the valk engine and cockpit I also used some leftover bits from the ork flyer kit.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Okay, this thing is awesome except that it needs a new cockpit! I really don't see an Ork squinting out of that little vision slit.

It doesn't scream out ork to me but it is still A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Agree with the above poster.

It might not really say; "Ork!" to me, but DAMN if it isn't cool.

Naw that definitely looks like something an Ork would loot. Though it could use more jagged metal here and there

Yeah i think it is a bit short on Ork-ifications, but it's a very very good build none the less. I think maybe propellers instead of turbines, grot machine gun pulpits on the dorsal or wings, and maybe a buzz saw would make it sufficiently Orky...oh and an open cockpit is a MUST! But very impressive work thus far, and maybe a paintjob is all it will take to sway my opinion.

Oh just found this! perfect:

I envision the tau slit is where the grot gunner would sit and the slit high up behind it is where the pilot would sit.

EXCELLENT model sir!

I don't think Ork when I see it though. To me, it almost looks like an Imperial Navy dropship (or a UNSC Pelican) rather than a Dakkajet.

MOAR GUBBINS isn't always the answer. I think it'll look plenty orky after a suitable paintjob. Besides, it's such a tight build that it'd be a shame to cover any of it up. Some subtle patches might work well, but giving it the usual orky treatment would be a disservice, I think.

This was a conversion I did a while back, I'll be painting the stealth dakkajet in the same scheme.

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

I think it looks good for what it is, but imo it would look just as good or better with a little less orkification and run it as a tau flyer.
