Drop a few FW for a couple shield drones for the Broadsides.

Add a 'ui for leadership 8 for the FW squads, 1 point of leadership is worth it to have a character.

I find, since the broadsides are going to spend most of their time in cover, that they don't get that much benefit from shield drones a lot of the time.

My suggestion is to report directly to the Inquisition and purge the Xenos scum from your list.

Heretic.

There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. Fairly common new-to-tau thing, using the Shas'o ( 25pts more for boosted stats in areas irrelevant to Tau, the only stat you care about being +1BS which can be done with a 10pt upgrade.) and Bodyguards (they are basically exactly the same as regular suits, but 10pts more.)

I would reccomend switching it to a Shas'el, with Plasma Rifle and Missile Pod w/ Missile pod and multitracker (with targetting array if wanted), and your HW BSF + drone controller w/ Shield Drones. This works out 11pts cheaper with Targetting array.
Run standard Battlesuits from the elites slot with Plasma Rifles, Missile Pods and Multitrackers. It's 5pts to upgrade one to a teamleader and take a HW Drone Controller for your 2 Shield Drones here. This saves you 7pts and is the exact same unit.

By giving them the Missile Pods instead of Burst Cannons you get a much larger threat range and can reliably hurt light-to-medium vehicles.

Using the 18pts you've saved so far, boost your second Fire Warrior squad to 12 men too.
Ideally you want 'ui's with Bonding Knives (and maybe Black Sun Filters) but you don't really have the points available.

Broadsides are ridiculously survivable with Shield Drones, I would be tempted to say take the 2 from the standard Battlesuits and give 2 to the Broadsides. (drop Targetting Array, give 1 the Drone Controller with 2 drones to save 10pts overall, OR, upgrade 1 to Team Leader and take a HardWired Drone Controller.)
This will leave you with either 18 or 3 pts spare. Not entirely sure what to do with either here. xD

Your broadsides will attract LOTS of firepower. By including shield drones you give the squad two more wounds as well as invuln saves just in case if they hit you with something that ignores armor AND cover. Also, you can't always get cover with a good firing angle so they help you out there as well.

Thanks,That's some pretty good feed back. I did run plasma/missile for about a year and a half and got good results out of them. Here, however, with the 3 railguns and 15 missile launchers, plus 6 meltaguns in the grey hunter squads, I thought I had enough anti-vehicle. The command squad was taken mainly to jump around trying to slowly chip away at terminators and the like, with burst cannons so if I go against one of the 3 horde ork players at my gaming store they can still put out a decent number of shots.

The list as is actually did pull off a major victory against one of the ork players, it was a nasty amount of fire power with grey hunters to do close combat mop up and act as a shield to prevent the horde fro assaulting the shooty part of the army, but i think changing up the suits a bit will help.
