I was doubly excited. Because there was a new starter set being released for 6th ed, and also because I was excited about starting space marines! I was gonna get assault on black reach, but of cause, a new starter set comes out. Damn. So my question is, will aobr come back? If so when? wheeeeeen?

Its unlikely that AOBR will be making a return, it was the starter set for 5th edition and will be summarily replaced by Dark Vengeance, the starter set for 6th edition.

It's still a pretty good kit, considering what you're getting out of it. With the exception of old rule book, just about everything is still usable.

Especially the whipping sticks...

My FLGS said the will sell us our black reach for cost instead of returning it. Makes me want it.

I do wonder if they ever plan on letting Orks get access to easy-to-buy Deffkoptas now that Black Reach is off the shelves.

AoBR will never come back. Its gone forever once Dark Vengeance comes out because what's the point of getting a starter set for an edition that's already long gone?
