Vehicles upgraded with the Crystal Targeting matrix hit with all snap-fired shots on a roll of 4 or more. Models with the Crystal Targeting Matrix ignore any jink saves their target would have.

I think one or the other.

Snapshots fire at standard BS OR ignore jink saves, both seems a bit much.

Or even be able to choose one or the other as you see fit?

It's vastly under costed to do even one of those things.

I'm not sure we are aware of how much a thing should cost to improve snapfire or other of these new situational sorta tricks. I think the use and saturation of such mechanics are really weirdly distributed so far, so I'm just tossing around a bone.


There are a lot of other ways you could go in making an upgrade that deals with that sorta spectrum of abilities I'm very open to suggestion.

I think one of my guiding thoughts so far, is that, so far, snapfire could use some love, and improving it is uncomfortable, and usually not adequate to really make the impact you'd be counting on it for (in many cases anti flyer) I also think it's a really cute mechanic that feels really really eldary and little things like that might be the mechanical and thematic way forward for space elves.
