Cut it out if you're anal about it.
Simpler, cover it up, by adding a dangly trophy to obscure it.
Even simpler, choose not to care, and simply paint it black, and it will blend away as if it were shadow.

I haven't seen the scouts in a while, I wouldnt be surprised if that's actually a piece of cape, and not so much an artifact of casting. Doublecheck the models to see if there's one it fits best with...
