Sternguard squads hit on turn one, combat squads deploy and fire at optimal targets. The Tac Squads come down as needed onto objectives and may combat squad. They can also dump plasma into something. The Dev Squads go for vehicles with krak and hordes with frag - simple. One of the Dev Sergeants mans the Quad Gun to help against flyers. In an environment with IA units allowed, I would make room for a Hyperios Launcher unit to help stop flyers. This list is for a more general all-comers event. With upwards of ten scoring units, it can do well in the predominant objective-based scenarios of 6th. In the event the unit count needs to stay low, it just doesn't Combat Squad.

Aside from the Dev's, its almost the exact list I've been testing (I go with TFC and a Bastion w/ scouts). The list looks good, keep us posted if you get the chance to play test it

I would lose the Devi's and throw in a libby with Gate and add some locator beacons to your drop pods.

The ability to precision strike Stern guards is devastating.

I'm with eni, I'm a fan of combi flamers in the squads, good for hordes, especially useful with the 6" disembark from drop pods

Try putting a combat squads of the tactical squads behind behind the ADL with only 5 marines in the drop pod.

I am not so fond of the dev. squads as they are a little pricey.
I greatly prefer 8 or so combimeltas per sternguard, then just use the special ammo against infantry. Also I like heavy flamers on them, as they are good for clearing craters and wall of death.

One further consideration is allies. Space wolves would be very easy to fit into your list and would improve it.

With wolves its pretty much a mandatory GH LF spam. Throw in 2x Rune Priests and you're good to go. I posted an army idea that could easily be refined for your purposes, see below for link.

I went complete drop pod and tooled up the Priests, but if you run with stripped down Run priests and dropped a GH squad you could easily fit the LF in as in my other Wolf list, link below
