Hey guys

I dont really know too much about the blood Angels, but recently there have been a lot of threads with a negative vibe surrounding them?

I've recently really... Really gone off my orks. A lot of them are un painted and I have so many it's just depressing. Then I starting looking at the thread to do with artwork and the blood Angels look absoloutley amazing!

I remember reading abit of the rulebook and I love the model of chapter master gabriel Seth! The only problem is .. I have collected space wolves
In the past and gone off them. Would I have the same issue with blood angels??

Blood Angels can be very fun to play, Especialy Flesh Tearers

in Inquisitor, a Space Marine can take a krak grenade, pull out the pin, eat the grenade, throw the pin, and the thrown pin will actually kill a normal man, whereas the Space Marine won't even have indigestion. This has actually happened in a game. Hell, a marine can throw his bolt shells and do more damage than by shooting his boltgun

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Ummm...somewhere...

Mate, you have to remember the first rule of the Internet, don't listen to the Internet BA are perfectly fine, in fact 6th Ed has balanced out most amies if your not playing tournament level meta. BA have lots of cool units, I don't play them but they look awesome on the table so I say definitely pick some up, specifically BA exclusives as they are strong on the TT and give you a proper BA army!

BA are a solid army. You can't really go wrong with choosing them. 6th buffed the defensive capabilities of Sanguinary Guard, buffed Death Company with the changes to Rage, gave all units with FnP a sidegrade, and your vehicles are now even more mobile. The Stormraven even got better since it's a proper flier now. They're a good army and you'll do well with them.

BA are still a really solid army, its just that going from 5th to 6th balanced them out a little more.

Memphiston for example is no longer the game winning IC he used to be, his AP3 weapon makes him easier to handle now.

Changes to furious charge hurt a little as they are no longer I5, so fighting MEQ they will take more hits back now.

Feel no pain was actually a buff for them though as they can now take it against all but ID attacks.

You want to go BA you should played well they'll still hurt.

Blood Angel Terminator with Lightning Claws

They are still a great army.

The storm raven is a very nasty vehicle now.

The changes to rage make death company much better now.

Feel no pain is much better on your assault units now.

Rapid fire helped bolters a bunch.

Being able to move and snap fire heavy weapons.

BA vanguard vets are nasty with decent of angels and heroic intervention. Scatter only 1d6 and get to assault 2d6 distance meens you have a great chance of succeeding.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

Are they a unique enough army compared to space wolves that I won't get bored of them like I did with SW?.

My only other concern is that my other army is daemons, and they sound very similar, although I am really tempted to get Dante and aload of sanguinary guard!

There's gonna be a load of new Chaos Space Marine stuff coming out soon. Why don't you go with them and use them with your daemons?
