Well, I have finally finished the Showgirls commission! This has easily been the most colorful commission I have ever undertaken, and I loved it. I'm seriously considering getting into Malifaux myself with some of the new plastic kits. Wyrd's metal models are stellar, but they are mega fragile, especially models like the Coryphee or the Mannequins. On to the pictures. Group shot: The gals. They are a pretty bunch, aren't they? Colettes facial expression is a little disturbing, though. Enjoy the pictures, and feel free to comment! Cheers! _Tim? Automatically Appended Next Post: No love for the Showgirls?

I like Colette, if I were to play Malifaux I'd start with her, probably.
The tile theme on the bases also fit the army, although I don't really know why

They look great! One of the best group of minis I have seen in a while. The colour selection and bases are excellent, I might to have get a set myself!

Wow a beautiful looking force, if more than a little disturbing!
Nice work with the bases, it contrasts nicely with the colour scheme and I think fits the theme really well.

I'm glad you all like the bases so much-they were the hardest thing to get looking right because each tile was tiny. I guess I did them justice!
Cheers!

Those look great man, I love the brightness to the dresses, and those bases are stellar.

I like the checkerboard tile look on the bases. At the FLGS, there are two main Collette crews running around. Each base is identical between the crews, wood floor.
Malifaux metals are by far better in my opinion. I have some of the new plastic, and, it seems to be missing detail to me. Yes, the minis are fragile and at times, difficult to pin. The fact that you can have a crew, up to 40ss, and you don't even have a repeat mold. I play guild, and, there are three molds of Guild Guards, Death Marshals, Witchling Stalkers, and now a 4th of the Death Marshals. Even the fact that some models are rare 2, and, there are two different molds are great. After building/painting GW stuff for years, it is nice to not repeat the same mini over and over.
