So are we back to trying to beat lysander now? From personal experience he is hard as hell to kill! The only hero that consistently beat him was Draigo in a 1v1. But for units i'd say

20 ork shootas, nob with powerklaw, and bosspole (so they don't run away). ~ 160pts

No way he can take out all of them, and no way he is going to pass all those armor saves from shooting. He is going to be taking roughly 5-10 armor saves per shooting phase and then that again in melee. There's just no way.

thats a bit over the top. apart from the fact that that many lascannons would wipe the floor with. if there lucky. but they do get a huge range bonus on it. to beat the lascannon teams - 2 wraiths - 82 points.

im annoyed i missed lysander... was gonna use pariahs. but how does lysander beat nightbringer? 3 hits, 2 wounds. then you deal 2 wounds. then night bringer deals 2 wounds and ur dead.

Limiting space marines to S and T4 is a big downfall.Most people now pick space marines because of black reach's equal numbers,(as opposed to Battle fo macragge,which had they fluff coinsiding with the modals.less men,better men,more xenos,worse fighters)and as such to counter their armour most people take power weapons and low AP weapons.because 9 times outta 10 your gonna fight marines

you know black reach is rigged don't you? check the point values.

yeah i knowat least macragge had fair skill:numbers ratio.even if you had to buy a commander and second squad.or a tyrant.
come to think of it,you cant field the space marines from reach either without another squad or scouts

its a legal army. but that's all that can be said about it.

it isnt because thers only 1 troop choce and you cant split it in half and say its two different squadsbecause you can onlyhave a heavy or special weapon in the squad of ten

If you had read the question, you would have known he was talking to me. But either way, the vindicare would beat both these tanks.

thanks,some people wer telling me of for pronouncing it like that,they pronounced it a-bad-don.I think its because i proved a point made in the GW blog,that even he wouldn't be so smug when he loses 2 wounds in one go!
