What do you think of this list (in red are the models from the 2 player starter)

I believe Thagrosh operates better with more heavies...? I'm not 100% as I'm not legion-savy, but I'd recommend dropping 1 shredder and the warspears for a Scythean or Ravagore.

Definately more heavies. What makes him such a rough fight is SG spam and the fact he can bring back a heavy on feat turn.

Things he likes:
Carnivean (SG)
Scytheans (Cheapest Heavy hitter, Threat Range)
Ravagore (Ranged pressure)
Succubus (Helps upkeep and spam SG)
Misc Solos to taste. Deathstalkers, Sheps and Forsaken.

Here's what I run at 25 pts for pThags simply because it is difficult to deal with.

Brick up, move up the board together as a wall. Use the Ravagore to put pressue on them to engage and as a trading piece. They need to chew through 4 heavies in 25pts to get to Thags which is no easy task. Beware of things like Snacking and RFP as they can make it impossilbe to bring models back with the feat.

It is very powerful and many people will struggle to cope due to his feat. Add in the things like warspears at higher pts levels with him imo.

Because pThags is such an attrition based caster, I don't leave home without the Legos+POT at 35-50pt levels. After that I add in BFS because I use pThags as my High ARM, attrition, Armor cracking list.

I find that a Carni with BFS and DB can wreck nearly anything it gets in contact with. Other day it ended MULG under stone and EBDT animus up (ARM 21) and still had enough to almost take down the EBDT afterward.

Hiveminds list is good and it gives you a solid choice of beast to use with other casters.
