Hi all,

I recently stubled across a job lot of model mainly dark angels at a car boot sale. Got a box load of minis for £25. In amongst these I found A scout sergeant Namman model. Dose anyboby know about this. From I'vr seen afeter a very quick through googl he's dead?? Just wondering if anyone has his profile etc? Or a pic of what he should look like so i can paint him up.

Dark Angels special character from the old days.

And hopefully re-instated in the "new" dex we might be getting soon.

Paint him up like any other Dark Angel scout. He's not that special looking. I think he had some special rules in Combat Patrol where he made his squad harder to detect, but he was just before my time in the game so I can't recall. He was taken out (along with Chaplain Asmodai) in the current 4th ed codex.

Just paint him as a normal scout sarge, as at the moment, thats all he is :(

It wasn't specifically for Combat Patrol. He made his squad extra-hidey (needed to roll Nightfight spotting distance to shoot at them) and gave them silenced pistols. He was also a member of the Deathwing, and could ignore the first hit against him in close combat (probably due to rage fueled by being so short...)

Given the current trend in Codexes, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him return in the next DA codex. Being dead is no impediment... at least half of the special characters throughout the various codexes released since 6th edition have been dead in the 'current' time. 40K games are supposed to take place at any point during the 10000 years or so between Heresy and 'current' time.


My non-Dark Angels version:

Tycho is a good example of a dead character thats in a new book
Even says in there that he's dead lol.


Also, naaman is bloody short! 0_o
