It always bugged me that Emily got the gakky end of the stick in Corpse Bride, she deserved an afterlife with somebody imo.
Which would you have you married if you were Victor? Emily or Victoria?
As you can guess i would of drank the poisen and stayed with her, shes everthing Victoria isn't (besides being dead) and she deserves somebody through the pain she had to endure...

Eh, the realm of the dead seemed a bit more fun,Probably that was how Burton wanted it portrayed (with the grim and dreary deptiction of the overworld, while the underworld had a more lively (albeit morbid) tone)
Yeah you would end up with only zombies, skeletons and miscellaneous wraiths of the recently deceased as your friends, but at least they knew how to throw a good party.
