Any chance you could let us know the PSI you spray at for the different coats and what not? I would love to know!

Thank you for showing that brush in action. I was planning on getting one (the Krome, I already use a 105) based on video reviews, but they weren't demonstrated on a model like this one is. You helped me seal the deal with it.

as for the needle, Krome comes with a .3 and a .21, Im going to go on a limb that he's using the .2, (though with his control skill he could be using the .3) as gentle as he's working im going to guess 15 psi or less

Most airbrushes have 3 needle sizes(if they offer more than 1 to begin with). For what we do the middle size is often enough.

For my Paasche Talon it offers .25, .38 and .66. I use the .38 exclusively as it works the best all around. With how fast our paints generally dry a .25 might clog up often unless you thin it down a ton.

YMMV of course. Smaller than .3 is generally not NEEDED for what we do. Perhaps on power swords or something, but certainly not for vehicles.

Could be right on that. I use a 105 patriot and couldn't get those lines, but it doesn't go down to a .3 size. I can't say anything about the krome since I have not used one yet. on youtube he says he's using 20 psi.

20 is what I use for priming and base coating. It's a good all around pressure to use. Lower psi's are mostly for super fine detail work with insanely thin paint.

i use a .2 H&S Ultra and it works fine for both detail and vehicles... if you check my necron blog in my sig you can see the doomscythe that is painted with that AB

Nice tutorial. Really shows why I NEED to get an airbrush. Would be nice to see a finished picture of the model.
