There it is. My question is what powers on the rune priests? other than that thoughts and comments are appreciated.

This is a damn good start.

For the two flamer/melta squads, don't mix and match special weapons. While it might seem like a good idea to have each squad be equipped to deal with multiple threats, its generally considered to be better tactics to have each squad have a singular focus. It could also be argued that Mark of the Wulfen might be a waste of points in this list, as this army is very shooty, and you are not going to want your units in close combat.

Your Rune Priests need to have their Psychic Powers AND wargear be different, as per the Leaders of the Pack rule. This is fixed simply by giving one of them Meltabombs, and then picking a combination of powers that best suits your list. I would recommend either LL/MH and LL/JotWW, or at least getting Divination on both. The Divination Primaris power and Long Fangs is extremely powerful. Since your priests are going to be on foot, you also have the option of putting them in Terminator Armor, giving them an Invul save. YMMV.

I'm not entirely certain if making all of your WG into terminators is worth it, but I would at least have each one have a combi-weapon that matches the special weapon for each GH squad. The TH/SS terminator is a bit odd, but the CML WG will make one of the LF squads even deadlier, so thats fine.

If you free up enough points, and insist on a CC option for your army, consider a Lone Wolf or two. A Lone Wolf in Terminator Armor with a Chainfist and Stormshield is exceedingly hard to kill, and either serves as an excellent distraction tool, a countercharge unit, or AV12+ destruction in case your melta unit gets neutralized.

Your largest drawback is going to be mobility. If you find that you're getting out maneuvered by your opponents, you could think about cutting the Terminator armor off of the Wolf Guard and adding Rhinos to the troops choices.

Transports?

I didn't really want a mech army since i already have a pretty mech ba army and wanted a shooty on foot army.

ill give one rp termy armor and th other runic. i was going to use ulrik as the priest in runic armor cuz i think his model is sick.

I feel rhinos as "mech". There more for protection and you new to maneuverability or your gonna lose objective missions.

Not necessarily true and with the power of plasma and rockets to strip hull points you may end up with a dead tank before it even gets a chance to roll.


Since you are walking the list put at least one of the rune priests in TDA to give him a ++ save. If you can drag 5 points from somewhere else to just give him a melta bomb or something put a second priest in TDA, it looses you nothing since they are not combat characters and you gain invulnerable saves.

What are you putting on the WG? Since they have a pw as standard with their TDA will it be an axe or a sword?
I am running axes with combi melta myself just to have a melta shot and something ap2 in cc in the gh squads.

Since you are asking about psychic powers there are only 3 worth talking about. JOTWW is great against necrons and low I models and threats. Nothing says dead like jaws on necrons or carnifex. Living lightening is amazingly good for anti-armour this edition. D6 S7 shots with unlimited range. You have the choosers so that is D6 shots hitting on 2's that can glance most tanks.
The last one is murderous hurrican, it's grand. I take it cos there are lots of orks round my parts.

The vehicles move so slow is my main problem with rhinos.
You don't think they would be able to move up and take objectives? My thoughts are enough boots on the ground with hopefully enough fire power to deal with scary stuff with vollies of missiles blots and plasma. this is what 70 ish boots on the ground. with moving and running they could get quite some distance.

What ever floats your boat my man. I am telling you now that bolters are week sauce. You will move and shoot 2 plasma as that's all you can use to hurt the opponent transports an then your units will get rocked. It's all a Matter of opinion! I hope it great!
