Does anyone have or know of any good tutorials on how to sculpt full body robes for space marines out of greenstuff?

And don't forget the plastic robed DA - a whole lot less work than sculpting your own, although they do only come in a few poses. Robes are not easy to sculpt :(

I looked at them but it would be costly because I want my whole army to be robed and I only have a small income

He has multiple sculpting tutorials on there, one of which I remember as being robes/tabards/cloaks.

The DA Chapter sprue used to be £12 (dunno if it still is).

You could build ten space marines with bolters out of that, making it cheaper than a tactical squad... It also came with a whole host of other tidbits.

You get two of these:

If that's not good enough, do just say so and I'll go look for an awesome tutorial on sculpting jackets that I saw (you could use it to make DA-like robes on the lower part).

I think nowadays its only one set of those sprues.

EDIT: Confirmed- "This set contains one Dark Angels Chapter Upgrade Frame" via games-workshop.com

Lemme guess... the price has probably gone *up*.

Well, tbh, it was a glaring hole in their price range; something's wrong if GW is willingly letting you buy a full tactical squad for half the normal price.

It's like when Razorbacks were the same price as Rhinos...
