Let me know what you think, so far I have been a lot of fun with this new edition and keeping my templars in the fight. Though I have yet to come across a flyer heavy list which I feel would cause me some trouble.

++HQ++

Emperor's Champion: 140 Points
Vow: AAC

Master of Sanctity: 126 Points
Crozius Arcanum, BP, Terminator Honors.

++ELITES++

Sword Brethren Terminator Assault Squad: 523 Points
x3 Lighting Claws
x3 Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield
Transport: Land Raider Crusader

Techmarine: 106 Points
Servo-Harness, BP, Power Axe.

++Troops++

Crusader Squad: 480 Points
x8 Initiates with BP, CCW
x1 Initiate with Meltagun
x1 Initiate with BP, PF
x3 Neophyte with BP, CCW
Transport: Land Raider Crusader

Crusader Squad: 210 Points
x8 Initiates with Bolters
x1 Initiate with Meltagun
x1 Initiate with Multimelta
Transport: Drop Pod

Crusader Squad: 210 Points
x8 Initiates with Bolters
x1 Initiate with Meltagun
x1 Initiate with Multimelta
Transport: Drop Pod

++FAST ATTACK++

Land Speeder Squadron: 140 Points
x2 Land Speeder Typhoons

++TOTAL: 1935 POINTS++

Now, with that many left over points I am just thinking about tooling up my Chaplain as I think he would be much harder to kill if he was 2+/4+. But then again, he is just there to make my assault terminators much stronger on the charge.

Now I also have a second list, that adds IG allies.

++HQ++

Lord Commissar: 70 Points

++Troops++

Veteran Squad: 110 Points
x8 Veterans with Lasguns, Meltabombs
x1 Veteran with Meltagun, Meltabomb
x1 Veteran Sergeant with Lasgun, Meltabomb
Demolitions

++FAST ATTACK++

Vendetta Gunship: 130 Points

By adding those, I would drop the 2 Typhoons and the Techmarine in the above list. I am not sure how the vendetta does against other air targets, but I would assume 3 TL LCs would be plenty to shoot down some pesky storm ravens.

They are really boring and ineffectual drop pods. I would argue command squads with special weapons and dreads would be the only units enough clout for a first turn drop pod.
Drop pods first turn need to do as much damage first turn as possible and be pretty good as staying alive.

I would use IG as primary when you get there. You can save points by not taking an EC and then you can bring more aeroplanes.

2 landraiders running at the enemy is actually a little eggs all in two baskets. I would bring vindicators to dilute the antitank firepower. You have some good units

I like this list! I have nothing to add here. Who is the EC, Chappy, and Tech tagging along with?

I would recommend 1 more drop pod. You have to "round up" to bring them in, so if you have 3, then you bring 2 in the first turn. Just an option to help, not always needed.
*EDIT* Looking this over again, you could down size the other 2 drop pod squads, to get a 3rd possibly. Then add another Melta, Melta combo in there! That would kick some serious butt! but again, not needed. You have the option to crack 1 tank open with that first pod that comes down, then turn 2/3 you can get the other pod in position for a objective/ crackin another tank.

The Chappy could always use a SS, that would give him a nice 3++ save, which helps him a lot.

Where is your tech marine, EC and Chappy going?

The chappy would kick butt with your terminators, and the EC/ Tech marine would be a nice fit in the other LRC. It looks like thats what youd do with them. I would say this is a solid list.

@MFletch: The drop pods look to be pretty effective to me. meltas coming down right next to there tanks? I dont see how thats "ineffectual". Also at 750 you MUST take the EC with a VOW, no getting around that.

a side note... Vindicators are not a bad option, but you should take PotMS on them. more 12" and shoot the main cannon for a total of 36" range.

You think a drop pod with power armour guys with one melta shot and one snap shot form a MM is really killer? You might just pop a tank. If a unit has a one melta it will miss, in fact you have to expect it will miss. I usually have units with 5 combimeltas coming out of my drop pods and they usually need all 5 shots to kill that tank first turn. Most enemies should be able to kill one squad of marines at close range, let's face it if they get assaulted most units in the game will have the upper hand.

As allies you do not need to take the EC, which a way around, which also as I suggest above a way to bring more of those nice aeroplanes.

Chaplain is going with assault terminators

EC and Techmarine are riding in the other LRC. I have not used a techmarine before and I simply want him in there as a little surprise when it comes to any assault the EC might have trouble with.

In a previous verson of this list I did not have the techmarine and I ran a 3 man bike squad with melta guns. Sadly they did not operate as intended due to the fact I was playing against a logan wing/long fangs list.

And why would I want to drop my EC? Lose RAGE on all of my units? Well then I might as well just bring out the BA codex and play them that way.

Show me this then. Because per our codex we need to take him over 750. Also he does not count as a HQ anymore, and he cannot be used as our warlord.

Plus, with 1 melta in my pods, I have had decent luck, but I typically run a pod list if i am going to have any at all. 5 Pods coming down, 3 on the first turn.

That is exactly how I plan on running them. I use to run 2 PotMS vindicators with 3 PotMS TLLC razorbacks for back up, and of course the normal assault terminators in a LRC. But I am not sure how that would work in the current edition.

I have always had a good run with PotMS Vindicators. I never run razorbacks. Too expensive for what you get imo. I even stopped running my rhinos, now I just use the ADL to get a +4 cover save, and have 2 tac squads with laz plaz. Then put 1 trooper from each squad in base with the quad gun to fire it.

How many points are those lazorbacks running you? Base points, plus TL Laz? I would almost go for a preadator with PotMS.

A 6 man crusader squad with melta, PW and TLLC razorback runs me at 206 points. The razorback itself is 90 points and if I decide to go PotMS it brings the cost up to 120 points. But I only ran that list in 5th.

Another option for you could be Bikers. The are alittle bit more expensive then normal SM, but we can have 3 speical weapons, plus an attack bike with a multi-melta... oh yeah, and a Tech marine with a full servo harness and a SS leading them. Thats a fun combo to run!

I personaly just dont run a razorback for my templars.

I like bikers, I can see how they could benefit me if I load them out with all plasma or melta. Perhaps I should give them another shot. Maybe drop the techmarine for them? Still undecided lol.

As for razorbacks, I stopped using them because I can't even charge from a stationary transport anymore unless it has assault ramps. =\
