Subject: what would you use these models as replacements/proxies for in Infinity
I'm at a total loss when it comes to the Grymms. Though they most certainly would do good as Squats in 40k As for the Colonial Marine... I'd say something basic. Perhaps a PanO Fusilier?

I've got a similar question - I'm considering starting up an Infinity force, and I'm certainly not averse to buying a bunch of official figures, but I'd also like to be able to pull some of my older models out of mothballs and paint them up for something active.
With that in mind, I'm looking specifically at my later-sculpts of Warzone Bauhaus and Capitol - Probably as Pan-Oceanic and Ariadna (I guess?)
(not my figures below, just gotten hold of some pictures of them)
I think it totally depends on your friends. I would have no problem as long as you they come close in armor and weapons. Like don't make a guy that's wearing heavy armor into light infantry. Most of the first war zone ones look Heavy and the fourth pic looks light. Hard to tell with the last one.
The main armour that the third and fifth picture guys have are helmets and shoulderpads. Well, the guys in the third pic have leg greaves, but they're also wearing skin-tight t-shirts.
