I was about to place an order from the GW site... nothing special just some plasma guns and melta guns (yeah now they cost $2 more due to being made of finecast). Anyway in the past when I ordered from GW shipping was free with a $30 purchase. I had $30 worth of bits (2 x melta, 1 x plasma gun), so 15 weapons and yet there was no free shipping, not only was it not free but GW wanted to charge me $9 to ship 15 tiny resin guns ?! So $40 total investment for 15 resin weapons, I mean REALY?!!!!

Is there a price point that still offers free shipping ? If not i am just going to make press molds of the weapons I have and then greenstuff them... they wont be as pretty, but they wont cost me $40 for 15 weapons.

I think it's $50 for free shipping, now.

It's gone up and down a few times in the last few years.

It used to be 15$ free shipping

I remember I wanted to buy a Kharne model, and I anticipated it being eligible for free shipping, but they had raised it to 25$.

Seeing as this is the only sort of discount GW gives, period, I don't think it's worth complaining about.

OK, I will play around with what exactly I am going to order... you would think that would be the kind of information displayed at CHECKOUT "hey jerkie, spend 10 more bucks and get free shipping"

Last time I ordered they did say how much more you needed to get free shipping.

I just checked the website, and there's a banner in the upper-right corner that says "Free shipping for orders over $50." So...apparently they do tell you.

Thats what I get for trying to place an order on 3 hours of sleep... my kid was up from 12:30 am to 5 am and then up at 6:30.

If possible, have them shipped to a local GW and pick up from there. That's what I do, shipping is then free no matter how small an order.

Well over here in the UK it's free shipping if you spend £10.

People order from GW with the 25% discount shops around? Had no idea.

He stated that he's ordering the direct-only stuff. Plasma gun pack and melta gun packs. I wish some of the discounters sold those, but they don't (typically).

GW really must only do free shipping these days. Unless you order paint or 1 model it's more or less impossible to not go over $50.

Preordered my C:CSM and it was free shipping.

While it's fun and all blame GW for this, remember that shipping cost have gone up significantly in the past few years. It's one of the things that makes selling on eBay suck more than it should.
