How are you guys filling in the gaps in the new box set?I am particularly interested in the chosen and when the gap goes through the shoulder pad. I use liquid gs but these spots do not seem like I can get a smooth finish if I gs those spots.

Use regular greenstuff to fill the larger gaps or any gaps formed by uneven joins.

Yeah some of those are a little too big for liguid GS, break out the standard stuff. Some of them are kind of awkward, though. I'd recommend using a shaping tool if you have one.

What about "sanding or smoothing" them down?

I went through this with my DV chaos. I used standard green stuff with a scraping tool I have with my sculpting set. If you don't have one, its a worthy investment.

As far as sanding them down? Just smooth them with the sculpting tool and lots of water. They wont be completely smooth, but with the right paint job afterwards you wont notice them.

While I thought the various "fit lines" were idotic in their placement I didn't find them particulary noteworthy after I had painted the model.

At least for me they didn't stick out enough to warrent breaking out the greenstuff.

Good feed back guys - I might need to do a mock paint test on one.
