So, I do GCSE French and whilst I can speak and write some Im not too competent. Would anyone who speaks French mind writing me a very short couple of sentences in French explaining what warhammer is for my essay on my free time.

Hmm... the only war themed French sentence I know refers to the Charge of the Light Brigade, but maybe it could apply to Warhammer

"C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre: c'est de la folie"

which translates as

Kind of sums up my feelings on the hobby sometimes.

Seriously, get out a French-English dictionary and work it out yourself. It's not much fun, but you may actually learn some French! I'm not sure why your response to being given coursework was to ask for help from an internet forum.

Many terms such as war gaming are not in a dictionary and this would point me towards online translators, online translators always get verbs and stuff wrong. This is not actually coarsework to be marked by an examiner it is just class work and if I learn this phrase I will be learning French, and words I could potentially later implement as well.
