hello dakka,

quick question for all you space marine converters out there. I'm in the process of assembling 20-odd tactical marines and I'm thinking about hacking up some of the legs to make their poses more interesting/varied. things like a crouched stance, one foot forward or one foot perched on a rock and such. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or guidelines about how to do it (i.e., where to cut, etc.).

I've done this before and it worked fine.

that looks about right but I also cut away the flextube behind the legs and cut around the knee... you can easliy make squating marines, Captain Morgan Stance, tall stances like that and you add a little extra wire and GS and now your marines are taller...

resculpting the flextube is easy, just add a little putty and only do a few lines in it. try to match the Millage one each one. If i had good pics I'd show off mine.

You can do quite a bit pose-wise just with cutting legs off at the hip from the various legs-bits and swapping them around.
