The item on forgeworld, the various patterns of boltguns, comes with some chainsaw bayonets. I want some of these for my Deathwatch, but since I already have decided on boltguns, I only want the bayonets. Any idea how I could convert/get them?

Combat knives from the tactical box work just fine. Alternatively you could get with an IG player and shave off some bayonets from the lasguns, but they are a bit small looking on a boltgun.

I wanted to make the chainsword-esque bayonets, I had already planned to use the knives, but I thought small chainsaws like in the set might look a bit more deathwatch-y.

A few different bits sites have them. I've seen others cut up chainwords to make them.

Check out this nifty chainsaw bayonet from Anvil Industry Miniatures[img] They also do other cool gear like underslung grenade launchers, scopes and silencers aswel as their own brand of weaponary suitable for space marines and imperial guard

Cut up some unused chainswords.

Also throwing my vote in for cutting up spare chainswords. Another alternative might be to go to one of the bitz stores and see if you can't buy some Khorne Berzerker chainaxes and cut them up.
