There is a local campaign starting soon.

750 points. The only army that I have with any decent composition is my GK army.

I have Draigo, a Libby, 2 dreads, a Dk and a fair amount of terminators.

I don't have anything else that I can field atm, but is there anything I could do to make this elite force into a workable 750 pts list?

Draigo and 5 termies alone comes close to the 500 mark before upgrades, so go with the libby and 2 termie squads plus upgrades. After that just work with what you have left over, your not going to be able to get an omg super list, but im guessing this is casual so take whichever of your extras you like best

Sub 1k games Put as many boots on the field as possible and scrap most of the upgrades. Shame you don't have Coteaz and henchman. I think I run a 25pt inquisitor 5c termies and a 10x strike squad for a 500 point game once. It was cute but my god GKs suck at small totals. Not as in "bad" suck, just boring.

I need to return some video tapes.

Unless you go with henchmen or strike squads you will have alot of trouble.

I would go with something like the following,

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor(power armor, psybolt ammo, power weapon) 48 pts

5 man Strike Squad (psycannon) 110 pts

5 man Strike Squad (psycannon) 110 pts

5 man Strike Squad (psycannon) 110 pts

5 man Strike Squad (psycannon) 110 pts

Dreadknight (teliporter, incinerator, Greatsword) 260 pts

Quite deadly at 750.

You have 4 squads with a fair bit of firepower and the melee stopping power and mobility of a pimped out Dreadknight.

Yeah, this is the problem. I'm limited on my GK models as it is a Draigowing army.

Might just have to go halves on another DV box set and go DA.

Terminator lists are almost impossable to do under 1000 points, and Paladin lists even more so. Largely because of HQ point costs.

depends if you want to play to win or play for fun. As said i always did fine with termies and i never play above 1k points, but then im pretty relaxed. The inqiusitors are fun tho, and can be made from any vaguely humonoid model

Small games work better with henchmen lists, Crowe/Purifiers lists, or PAGK lists. I suppose you could take a Draigo list, but it'd be really down to the dice in most situations since you'll have so few models.

Duplicate post from three hours ago. Wtf is going on with my phone and dakka?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
At 750, trying to build a winning list is tricky. Fitting in some good units is s pretty difficult thing to do at such a low points level.

Why not just play Draigowing? Draigo, 5 Paladins with psycannons, and spend the rest of the points on single Paladins to hold objectives.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I think you can do:

Libby

2x termi squads

1x dreadknight

and just upgrade them with the points left, remember to take teleporter on the dreadknight.

Can't be done.

With absolutly zero upgrades that is 680 points, 5 points short of being able to take the Teliporter.

2 termie squads - 400
base dreadknight - 130
base librarian - 150

teleporter is not a must though, just give him the heavy incinerator, and then put psycannons on the termie squads

Termi squads are 200 base.

So its,

Librarian 150

5 terminators 200

5 terminators 200

Dreadknight 130

Total=680

You could use Inquisitor Cotez instead of the Librarian, then you would have points for a teleporter, and a psycannon or two.

I have to say, I like the idea, but with the incredibly low amount of guys and the fact that horde or a well placed Demolisher Shot will kill you all, I just don't feel comfortable in taking such a force.

There is something that would about it that would say "I got 9 Models in my army that will tear your face off in combat". Playing it would auto give you kudos from other players if you win a game.

Between

I saw a Draigowing army in a 500 point game a little while ago. It was actually surprisingly effective in a five-way battle between them, Tau, two Marines and Orks.

This was my 750 Draigowing list I ran for our club's last escalation league.

Draigo

5 Paladins
1 - MC Psycannon/Halberd
1 - MC Psycannon/Sword
1 - Stormbolter/MC Daemonhammer
1 - Stormbolter/Halberd
1 - Stormbolter/Sword
Psybolt ammo

Paladin
MC Daemonhammer

Paladin
MC Halberd

Comes in @ 745 pts. Went undefeated. That was in 5th ed, so YMMV now in 6th.

Without the WA shenanigans, the Draigowing doesn't work at this pts lvl.
