I'm making a 1 foot by 2 foot piece of terrain themed as a relaxing hangout for a group of Marines camping an objective.

Fireplace with Tyranid heads affixed to bases as head trophies. Suits of Retired armor lining the walls. Stuffed Xeno exhibits. A table set up for wargames.

What would you guys suggest as additions on this theme? What would your army do if they had five turns to sit there and do nothing but relax?

Giant, overstuffed brown leather chairs. Hubadors, smoking jackets, a bookshelf full of 80 copies of Codex Astartes. A Space Wolf pelt rug. Enslaved getchen butlers. 10 pin bowling alley.

Space Marines clearly like to relax in Victorian style.

@Raatcharch: And would you trust those enslaved Gretchen Butlers? Brilliant set of ideas in any case. Not sure the Space Wolves would be happy about the rug though. Plus wouldn't there be 100 copies of the Codex Astartes, one for each of them? How about a dartboard with a picture of Abaddon's face on it. Some cards, maybe using Eldar Soulstones as chips for poker. Barrels of beer for drinking competitions.

Additions:
Ping-Pong table.
Sleeping scout in the rafters/upper level.
A small shelf with armor polish and paint.
Jukebox.
A couple arcade games (Q-bert and Paperboy).
Don't forget cigars.

As I play Eldar, the space hippies would probably be sipping tea, eating crackers, discussing the finer things in life, complaining about all the Mon-keighs, divining the future, and constantly annoying the poor sap on the "Path of Service". A real "Session Drive" type party.

Uh I'm pretty sure relaxing hangouts are a gateway to heresy? Just ask Fulgrim.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

A room with an alter on one end, images in stained glass of the Emperor and their Chapter Master. A dias with a tome (painted to look like a 6th ed rule book) upon it. The alter floor has the Chapter Symbology done in stone. Lining the walls are 5 alcoves on each side, each with an incense burner and unique wall hangings. Scrolls and books line the shelves of each along with a writing platform with blank purity seal and writing utencils ready for when the Space Marine is inspired to document his Oath of the Moment. A Space Marine occupies each alcove (room for a full squad)silently engaged in prayer and contemplation of the coming battle. ! Marine is missing a shoulder paldron; a servitor is crossing the open stone floor towards that alcove...a freshly repaired and mint painted shoulder pad in his outstretched hands delivering the missing piece of that Marines armor.

Or you can go with a 70s pimp-pad complete with copies of "Naughty Battle Sisters" on the table and empty beer cans about the floor,

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?
