Correct me if I'm wrong, but Puppetswar is a 'resin only' shop. The resin seems to be somewhere between Forgeworld and Finecast resin.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'between'.

Their quality is above Finecast and Forgeworld's occasional holes.
Their flexibility is above Finecast's "bend me marketing" and Forgeworld's "Snaps when touched".

Awesome, thanks for the replies! I just wish I could see some of their heads on marine bodies! I really want to do a Minotaur Marine force with their Spartan heads, I think that would rock!

They are not as neat as most of the GW resin I have witnessed, but I don't see any of the pitting or warping I have seen with FW or Finecast.

My only order, a rolling slaughterer, came with a giant hole inside it, with one of the teeth broken off because of it.
I wouldn't be so quick to say they are any better than FW or Finecast, but I'm just one guy, with just one order.

I'm just curious as to whether you've talked to their customer service yet. How helpful we're they in providing you some sort of resolution?

Prometheus Brides (anyone need a Borg Queen for their Necrons? ):

Both of those sets are pretty badass. But they've got ball jointed necks as if to make "not marines". For Necrons you'd probably have to clear down the neck to chest on the body or remove the ball from the neck before adding correct??

I'm actually getting fed up with this company. Customer service is pretty crap. Shipped three weeks ago and if the tracking is any indication it hasn't even made its way out of Poland.

@ matphat: I can assure you that if you write to them @ the complaint (preferably with photo) to get a new product with no defects at no additional cost .... just like FW.

The inadequacies of the Polish mail system are hardly the fault of the company.

Agreed!
The fact that it has taken so long is pretty unusual as well! Ive ordered several times and always received my stuff within a week (however, I am located in Germany...).
I just got the arthropods and 2 out of six did have a couple of faults! I mailed them and they said theyd send out replacements immediately. Its only been 3 days, but Im sure those will land just as quickly!

I think their doing excellent products, for reasonable prices with good customer service!

$28 for one? I'll have to pass. I like the design, but GW's version will likely not cost nearly 30 dollars for a single one.

Usually takes me 3-4 weeks to get stuff from Poland here in the central US.

I don't believe I implied as much. I'm saying that both exist but are not cogent. The customer service takes, what I feel, is an excessive amount of time to reply. Between asking for the tracking and getting the tracking took 48+ hours.

Does it take 3 weeks for it to JUST make it out of Poland? I think you guys are defending issues I'm not making.

Seems like a problem with Poland's post. I assume if you've got a tracking number it has been sent out.

I ordered stuff about 3 weeks ago, and it just arrived yesterday.

Again, not answering questions I'm posing. It's clear that it's been shipped, that is evident.

Actually Crayola... that seems to be EXACTLY the argument you were making. Can't see any other way to interpret the above statement as it seems your only documented complaint was with the shipping. If this wasn't your reasoning, you should be a little more careful forming your argument... especially when you're going to slam someone on their own thread.

Got mine in about a month you can check the date of the post I made when I ordered and the post I made when they arrived. I can't recommend the company enough!

Minus the part where I made two independent sentences in which one described the customer service and then another about shipping. You see, in adult language this expresses two different ideas and/or thought. I then clarified when people attributed them both to the latter to clearly distinguish further. In other words, nope.

You should probably be a little more careful with understanding language.

Come on guys, lets just chill out and get back on topic.

Been checking out their walker arms, is there an example of any used on a model? Im guessing they're for dreads.

Each one also comes with 10 little scarabs. So that's easily 3 bases depending on how far you stretch them. And if you don't think GW is going to charge $30 for them, then you're crazy

What type of shipping are they using to get your package to you Crayola? If it's regular post I'm betting once the package has left their country the tracking status stay the same....because they wouldn't have access to USPS tracking. Non issue if you paid for Fedex, UPS or some other multinational shipping service. Also there's another recent thread on Forgeworld shipping where

It could be customs and Puppet War not even know about it.

Out of curiousity, why is their Customer Service crappy? Can you relate specifics to your situation?

What models are you buying from GW to lead you to believe this?

I'll probably be getting these guys' autocannons soon... wondering if the Warstore or somewhere might stock them, though, or if the only choice is to order direct from overseas?
