I ask because I just saw one.
Ironically it was for a company I used to work for and one that just went under a day or two ago, but other than cosmic irony is there a reason I saw the ad?

I'm assuming that he did disable them, but I don't think you should be seeing ads if you disabled them.

I've seen them a few times here and there.
It's not too bad, but it is annoying when the ads glitch and take up the entire top part of Dakka.

Mine aren't disabled, but all I have up there is

Sorry, we have temporarily disabled access to dakkadakka so that we can implement changes or undertake maintenance.

Chrome for iOS only shows adverts after I post a new thread.
Also, to anyone reading, DCM's have the option of turning ads off. Hopefully that clears something up I you thought we were just being crazy.

Ads should be 100% disabled for DCMs when disabled. If you see one and have them disabled, please let me know the URL of the page you see it on and I'll clear it out. There is a small chance that you will see an ad as a result of a race condition, but it is very unlikely. The more common thing is that because I never turn ads off for myself, I sometimes forget to disable them for DCMs who have them turned off as well in certain circumstances.

Ive got Adblocker on my Chrome, so I didnt see the ads to begin with
