All right guys

As you can tell I'm an Aussie and the one that complains a lot about our prices. I know ours are not the worst (poor New Zealanders...), but they are certainly not the best and so I have come up with a plan.

I did a bit of research on GW site and found that when i converted everything to AUD the place with the cheapest prices was Poland (I did this based on the Heldrake and I'm sure the price differences probably vary between products, but whatever). Now that we know this we need to find someone in Poland (there's got to be someone) who can set up an eBay shop and sell NIB products to the globe from Poland. In order for this to work the profit margins must be kept to as low as possible and postage as cheap as possible too. It doesn't matter how long it takes to arrive (for me anyway), just as long as I can get an army sometime. If we do this the people in countries that GW wants to punish will then be able to get things at a reasonable price.

I know this may seem excessive but I already have an army built primarily off eBay and have saved a couple of hundred dollars even though I buy stuff NIB. It really adds up for us and if you don't believe me or something just have a look at the site.

Thanks guys

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

I'm pretty sure that US retailers don't have restrictions on where they can sell to like EU retailers. Granted their shipping is usually more expensive for some reason, but it is still cheaper than buying from GW AUS, and it doesn't involve people setting up new companies for very low returns just so you can get things cheaper...

So why exactly is this person in Poland going to be willing to do this for you when you insist that profit margins be as low as possible?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

you know what would be easier, just buying it off e-bay, NIB.

As a poor New Zealander, I have recently bought complete sprue sets off bitz barn, essentially the same thing as what you get NIB but without the box. It's about 2/3rds the RRP including shipping

As a New Zealander, I've been buying a lot of my kits from FW. At the current exchange rate it's actually cheaper.
